Middlewich High School

Excellence in Learning – Achievement for All

Careers Fair

On Wednesday January 17th we hosted our annual Careers Fair in connection with The Middlewich Pledge.

On Wednesday January 17th we hosted our annual Careers Fair in connection with The Middlewich Pledge. The event was a huge success, with over 46 organisations attending. Students were lucky enough to be given information from a wide range of career areas, ranging from farming to engineering. The fair also aimed to educate students on the different paths that they can take, both academic and vocational, towards their chosen career. All students engaged with the event, from Year 7 to Year 11 and we were also pleased to see Underwood West Academy attend the with some of their Year 6 students. We truly believe that students should be given a wealth of opportunity to participate in career led events and as a school this is something we are working towards developing more in the future. We want to take the chance to thank all who attended, making it a memorable day!

Good event, I would have preferred focussing on purely Year 10 and 11 but still very positive and beneficial. Neil McCabe, Barclays Apprenticeship Programme
