On the 24th November our school was visited by 3 very experienced and professional HMI Ofsted inspectors...
On the 24th November our school was visited by 3 very experienced and professional HMI Ofsted inspectors. They spent the day with us, meeting with myself, my Senior Leadership team, School Governors and students. As part of the inspection process the HMI team also checked our safeguarding procedures and considered the opinions of parents and carers.
I am very proud to announce that the HMI inspectors agree that our school is indeed ‘Good’ and recognise our very many strengths: “Sharp culture of accountability and aspiration”, “outcomes are improving apace”, “a beacon for the local area”, “spirit of inclusion pervades the school”, “prevailing ethos of harmony and respect”, “Pupils say they feel safe”, “Diversity is celebrated …and pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is supported well”.
