On December 15th the entire school experienced their first i-Value day of this academic year. These days are included as part of our curriculum in order to raise awareness of topics around PSHE and Citizenship. We saw a varied and exciting day that covered topics from Anti-Social Behaviour to understanding the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community.

Pupils had sessions delivered by various outside agencies including Scope, the disability charity, and South Cheshire College. Walking around the school throughout the day there was clear focus from all year groups, who were completely engaged with the sessions that they attended.; the school had a fantastic atmosphere. It was pleasing to have our guests tell us directly and tweet us that they were very impressed by our pupils and their interest in the talks that were delivered.

We are grateful to all of our guests who travelled to attend the day. It is clear that the sessions have had a positive impact on our pupils, who are already questioning how we are going to help those organisations who were represented.
