Middlewich High School

Excellence in Learning – Achievement for All

Race for Life - Monday July 11th 2016

For the first time Middlewich High School will be hosting a Race for Life event on Monday July 11th 2016.

For the first time Middlewich High School will be hosting a Race for Life event on Monday July 11th 2016. We are organising this event because we feel that more and more people are being affected by cancer and we need to come together as a community to help fight this disease.

On the day pupils and staff will be participating in a parade through Middlewich town in a show of solidarity against this disease. The theme of this year’s Race for Life is ‘Warriors against Cancer’ and we will be representing this theme during the parade and the events on the day. After this all pupils and staff will complete their run at school, which will be followed by the opportunity to buy food and drinks from stalls and a BBQ. We want this day to be a huge success and for all proceeds to go to Cancer Research, therefore we are asking local businesses if they can donate any of the following:

  •  Prizes for our raffle
  •  Cakes
  •  Sweets
  •  Drinks
  •  Anything appropriate to fill our goodie bags
  •  T-shirts that pupils can decorate for the day
  •  Face paint
  • Wallpaper to make banners
  • Marker pens/paint

If there are any other ways that you could get involved with our fundraising please contact Diane Mansfield or Charlotte Walker at the school. We appreciate anything that you can contribute or help us with.
