Siobhan Tarbuck

Staff Governor

My name is Siobhán Tarbuck and I am Head of Performing Arts. I studied BA Hons Music at Salford University, my final year focused on Performance and Music Technology. I went on to complete my PGCE in Secondary Music with Specialist Instrument Training at the Royal Northern College of Music.

I am a woodwind specialist (clarinet, flute, saxophone), I also play electric/acoustic guitar, bass, piano and the feadóg.  I continue to practice and perform in ensembles outside my place of work as I believe that by continuing to develop my own instrumental skills I am better equipped to give students constructive, supportive and genuine advice.

I also have a passion for sports, and I am a member of Vale Royal Athletics Club where I compete in middle and long distance running events.
