Middlewich STARS Programme Year 7 Launch

 On Wed 4th October we launched the Middlewich STARS programme with our high ability Year 7 students. Over 150 students and parents attended – the drama studio was packed out! Miss Holt and Mrs Morgan explained how the programme works then 5 current STARS presented to the guests about some of the challenges they have completed, how the STARS programme supports their learning and their future plans. The guest speakers were:

They really went out of their way to be helpful, confident in talking to parents and pupils and also

 presenting their work and telling the audience of their aspirations for the future. They all spoke so confidently and their delivery was excellent. They were definitely Middlewich Stars!

 Since the launch we have received several completed challenges from Year 7 already – some students are on their third challenge!

 As recognition of their achievements, Mr Simpson, Headteacher, is hosting an afternoon tea on Friday 20th October for all students who had submitted a challenge by Friday 13th – lucky for some!
