Middlewich High School

Excellence in Learning – Achievement for All

iValue Day

On Friday 7th February, we held our second iValue day of the year.

On Friday 7th February, we held our second iValue day of the year. iValue days provide in invaluable opportunity for the students to learn more about their community as well as important life skills.

Students took part in a resilience workshop with speakers from Blesma, where Lamin and Neil shared their powerful life experiences and spoke about how they were able to overcome the difficulties they have been faced with.

Tree of Knowledge worked with some of our year 11s, this workshop was truly inspiring and left our young people feeling confident and empowered!

Thank you, once again to Mr King, who shared his incredible collection of World War I artefacts with Year 8.

We would also like to say a special thank you to Morrisons Middlewich, for donating £40 worth of food to the ‘Love, Food Hate Waste’ workshop. The students were amazed at what they could create, with food that might otherwise have been thrown away.

This tied in to our visit from ANSA, who visited us to help the students to understand the importance of reducing our waste.

We would like to thank all of our guests and visitors for helping to make it such a fantastic day.
