PTFA Tombola Results

Wow! What a battle. A great effort from Kinderton in the final few days saw them leapfrog Ravenscroft and knock Kinderton off the top spot for the House prize. Congratulations to Newton.

The Year Groups story reveals all. In Year 7 Newton improved from 4th to 1st place and relegated Ravenscroft and Kinderton to 2nd and 3rd place respectively. It was a different story in Year 8. Kinderton’s lead was unassailable and it was the only Year Group where top spot remained unaltered. Ravenscroft rallied from 5th to grab joint 2nd with Newton and in the process displaced Stanthorne. Meanwhile in Year 9 Stanthorne put in their strongest performance and knocked Newton off 1st place in to second. That was a tremendous effort Stanthorne, well done. Ravenscroft improved too taking Kinderton’s 3rd place spot. Newton rose to victory again in Year 10 closely followed by Bostock who put in their best performance here and took second place.

I am very pleased to see that every house achieved at least one top-two place within the final leg of the Year Group competition. Newton managed to do this in all four Year Groups and this is what secured them the House Points victory. Congratulations to all who took part, but especially to 7N, 8K, 9S and 10N as Year Group prize winners this time. We hope you enjoy the sweet taste of your victory.

Best regards
