Headteacher - Mrs L Naylor

I am honored to serve as the Headteacher at Middlewich High School. With more than two decades of involvement in education, I have been dedicated to elevating standards in a nurturing and encouraging environment. My commitment lies in providing every student with an exceptional educational opportunity.

At Middlewich, I am fortunate to lead an exceptional team that possesses a rich reservoir of experience. Together, we ensure that all students receive an excellent education. Our primary purpose is to contribute to the local community by equipping our students with the skills they need to thrive as accomplished and engaged individuals both in Middlewich and on a global scale.

 

Deputy Headteacher - Character & Inclusion - Mrs S Colclough

I have worked in education for over seventeen years. I have a deep-rooted passion that all achieve and know this is possible when students attend and apply themselves. I am dedicated to removing barriers, providing opportunities and ensuring students leave Middlewich High School with the results they deserve. I have a passion for Personal development and believe it is key that we develop character to ensure students can demonstrate behaviours necessary in order to succeed and become the best citizens they can be, for their school and the community. I lead our Access and Inclusion team which comprises Safeguarding, SEN, Attendance, Achievement leads, Educational Support Workers and iValue and Personal development with form tutors. 

 

 

Deputy Headteacher - Raising Standards (Quality of Education) - Mrs R Povey

I am Mrs Povey and I am our Deputy Headteacher - Raising Standards with responsibility for our Quality of Education agenda. I am passionate about delivering the very best curriculum to all our young people, delivered by our dynamic and committed teachers. I lead our team of Curriculum Leaders who make up our Raising Standards team and I am driven by an excitement about high quality teaching and learning and delivering outcomes for every learner which will enable them to access the very best life chances. In my previous roles, I have worked as an Advanced Skills Teacher, Specialist Leader in Education (SLE) and PIXL and SSAT Associate. I look forward to contributing to the everyday excellence delivered at Middlewich High School.

 

 

Assistant Headteacher - Culture & Inclusion - Miss K Holt

I am Miss Holt and I have worked at Middlewich High School for many years. In my role as Assistant Headteacher - Culture & Inclusion, I am committed to giving the children of our local community the opportunity to shine and become the best version of themselves. I lead on Personal Development in form time, enrichment activities, our House system and ensuring every student can make a positive contribution to life here in Middlewich High School and the wider community. I am also a Deputy Safeguarding Lead, working as part of our Safeguarding team to support our vulnerable students. Another role I have is as Achievement Lead for Year 11. Our goal is to support all our students to make the best progress possible and to achieve results which will create many opportunities for them in the future. My final role as a senior leader is as lead for Cared for Children. My subject specialism is Geography and working with our students in the classroom (and beyond) is both a pleasure and an honour.

 

Assistant Headteacher - Assessment and Intervention - Mr J Lobina-Lal

I am Mr Lobina-Lal and I am our Assistant Headteacher in charge of Assessment and Academic Intervention. I have worked in an array of different schools over the past ten years and have seen what it takes to provide our students with the best opportunities for success. My drive stems from the fact that any pupil, regardless of any factor – background, faith, social status – has the potential to be someone who can change the world for the better. My passion lies in ensuring that as a school, we provide as many opportunities as possible to make sure that our students leave our care with the best possible academic outcomes and best possible preparation for thriving as strong, dependable, and intelligent members of society in modern Britain. My educational background is based in science, as a specialist in Chemistry. I am very happy, excited and privileged to be a key part of the Middlewich family, and ensuring that all students succeed.

 

Assistant Headteacher - Inclusion and Culture - Mrs A Blackburn

As Assistant Headteacher: Inclusion and Culture, I lead on KS4, inclusion and alternative provision. Throughout my career I have worked within the student support and inclusion remit, recognising that all students can achieve when they are supported to do so in a caring, nurturing and academically challenging environment. I am passionate about creating a sense of belonging and community, relational practice and student support and inclusion, believing that every student has something positive to contribute to our school community and beyond. I am proud to work in a school which encourages students to ‘Aspire, Believe, Belong’.

Within the classroom, I am a Teacher of English, indulging my passion for reading and teaching and learning.
